– Learn more about the rich Civil War history of West Virginia with the WV Civil War Trail. There are locations all over the state, and quite a few in our region, that were touched by the Civil War.
– If you are a square dancing enthusiast or would like to learn how to square dance, then the Mountain Dance Trail is a wonderful resource for you. Here you can find dance events in towns all across the northern portion of the state that are held throughout the year.
– Another great resource is the Mountain Music Trail. The Mountain Music Trail is composed of the five counties that Hwy 219 runs through: Tucker, Randolph, Pocahontas, Greenbrier, and Monroe. Many of the music events that are happening in those counties will be listed on their websites. They also have profiles of local music venues and local musical groups.
