Visitors are drawn to Randolph County, West Virginia for its natural beauty and its abundance of outdoor recreation. Recreational tourism has grown in Randolph County, bringing more visitors to enjoy the mountainous views and appreciate nature, where it’s easier to avoid crowds and social distance. Because of this, we are committed to making our area a safe place to visit. We are abiding by COVID-19 safety guidelines, and we are asking you to do the same.
Let’s be #RandolphTogether:
-To maintain cleaning protocols issued by the Randolph County Health Department and the CDC
-To monitor the health of ourselves and our staff — requiring staff to stay home if they show symptoms of being sick or have a fever
-To wear masks or another type of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) in indoor public establishments (a statewide requirement for all indoor public places)
-To provide hand sanitizer or hand washing stations and to practice cleanliness by washing hands often
-To maintain and practice social distancing guidelines (6 feet apart)
-To avoid giving hugs or handshakes
-To provide the best possible service and hospitality under these unique circumstances
What you need to know:
When traveling to Randolph County please note that some of your favorite restaurants and amenities have adapted new operations to adhere to COVID-19 safety guidelines. Many businesses have limited hours, offer to-go options and/or offer online sales. Remember, the majority of our businesses are privately owned, family-run, and they are making every effort to provide you the best service possible, in a safe manner.
Even though West Virginia restaurants can be open at 100% with social distancing, but because of the size of some of our restaurants, they cannot safely accommodate 100% occupancy. Plan ahead by contacting the restaurant and/or considering ordering take-out for some of your meals while visiting.
Planning to shop while visiting? A few of our businesses may have abbreviated hours. Please contact the retailer first about their current hours of operation.
