Snowshoe Foundation Gives Support!

The Snowshoe Foundation, for the third year in a row, has enabled the completion of an essential Welcome Center improvement.  By utilizing a Snowshoe grant, the Center received the necessary technological updates needed to nurture local community-enhancing projects and tourism-supported efforts across the region and state.

“The Snowshoe Foundation grant has empowered the Elkins Depot Welcome Center to enhance our mission of assisting the Elkins community and tourists visiting the area.  The Foundation is a fantastic organization that is committed to making West Virginia a better place to live for its residents,” says Executive Director, Anne Beardslee.

Three Snowshoe Foundation fundraising events are held throughout the year, including the Annual Golf Tournament on June 9th, 2017, Treasure on the Mountain on August 5th, 2017, and the Winter Benefit Dinner which will take place next year.  Treasure on the Mountain Raffle tickets can be purchased at the Elkins Depot Welcome Center, located in downtown Elkins.
